英国使馆文化教育处和中国教育部考试中心日前公布了IELTS考试2006年全国家公务员考试试日期。自2005年十月6日起，考生即可登陆IELTS报名入口 http://ielts.etest.edu.cn，查看2006年IELTS 考试日期。从十月6日开始，全国的考生都可通过IELTS报名入口报名。IELTS考试实行全年开放式报名，考生可以随时上网考试报名全年的任何一次考试。
2006年，IELTS 考试将在36个周末举行，现在内地区域共设有26个IELTS考试中心，考生可选择就近考试知识点参加考试。因为并不是每一个周末都安排有培训类考试，考试报名培训类的考生应特别注意选择合适的考试日期。
