For Sale or On Sale？
不少人一看到sale这个单词
就会立刻以为是
优惠；营销的意思，
以为for sale和on sale是一样的
不过......
这两个词组的意思是不同的！
For sale和On sale 分别的意思是？

For sale
For sale的意思是offered to be sold; made available to purchasers（想供应的;可提供给购买者）

On sale
On sale的意思是able to be bought at reduced prices（可以以较低的价格购买）
If something is for sale, you can buy it. If something is on sale, you can buy it at a discount.
假如有东西是for sale，那就是说你可以买它。假如某物是on sale，那就是说你可以优惠买它。
大家用下边几个例子来加深一下理解：

Student A: I need to buy a widget.
我需要买个小玩意。
Student B: Go to Jumbo. They have them for sale.
去珍宝吧。他们那有卖的。

Student A: I bought my new skis for 900 Swiss Francs.
我花900瑞士法郎买了个新滑雪板。
Student B: Hah! I got mine on sale for 450 SF!
哈!我在营销的时候买的花了450！
Often stores perpetually have On Sale signs in their windows, even if the items might not be discounted, and they should be displaying For Sale. Sometimes they will simply show Sale, in which case they imply On Sale.
一般商店的橱窗里一直挂着On Sale的牌子，即便产品可能没优惠，其实应该是For Sale的。有时他们只不过简单地写个Sale，在这样的情况下，他们暗示在营销。
