商贸英语|商务英语如何学：句式

因为英语用很多连接词，所以，句式结构比较灵活多样。但商务英语是正式文体，因此，它有着典型的书面英语句法特点：句子结构较为复杂，句式规范，文体正式，特别在商务合同协议中更是这样。请看下例：

If, whether during the execution of the works or after their completion and whether before or after the repudiation^{1 or other termination of the contract, between the Employer and the Contractor2 arises any dispute in connection with, or arising out of, the Contract or the execution of the works, including any disagreement by either party with any action, inaction, opinion, instruction, determination, certificate or valuation of the Engineer, the matter shall, in the first place, be referred to the Disputes Review Board.}

同时，商务英语的句式结构也趋于简短。比如：
We hereby /confirm/i... / This is to /confirm/i... 兹确认
Our firm had a bad year last year．去年我公司年景不佳。
Enclosed please find...随函附上，请查收。
I can't share your view on that．对此本人不敢苟同。

这类句型看上去简单，但要做到在从事国际商务活动中对这类常用句型手到擒来、应用自如，也非易事。
